I'd like to remind everyone that while Microsoft Publisher may be the worst format ever, Access is damned close.
Access is pretty much crap. Crap. Crap. Crap. And if you ever need to migrate your data out of it, please be sure that the person who created said database actually knows how to put a database together. (In other words, if you need to break one field up into multiple fields because of your database engine - hi, Access! - maybe you shouldn't be using that engine.)
