Portland: What to do?
So I'll be in Portland, Oregon for Webvisions in about four weeks and I'm already planning out what to do. (Ryan - also going - and I are keeping a private wiki to really organize the info.) I'll have a very limited amount of time during the conference, as I'm flying in Wednesday night and flying out Saturday afternoon.
So... anyone have any recommendations on things to do/see?

PS: Spot my visionary company! Nice.
Spotted this on explore/posts.
If you like books at all, you have to go to Powell's. Corner of 10th and W Burnside. It's one of the best bookstores on the planet, and I believe they're open 'til 11 every night.
If you can do it, go to the Saturday Market on Saturday morning. It's at the foot of west side of the Burnside Bridge, and it's kind of the ultimate Oregon crafts fair.
Powell's. Definitely Powell's. Ditto the Saturday Market. Also, if you're into books or historic buildings, see the Central Branch of the Multnomah County Public Library (in downtown Portland). I'm not a native, but it's easy enough to find on a walkabout downtown.
Oh, and if have time to drive out to the coast, I'd highly recommend Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. Try to ignore the touristy shops on the main drag and just spend your time on the beach.
I suggest hanging out with Ryan.
I guess.
Hey! Check out altportland, my daily Portland blog. It's a mess but perhaps it would be helpful? And definitely check out Powells. The Technical store is the best. Luckily, the public transport is a/c-ed.
